A nice vintage Berbyshire cross slide for a watchmaker's or jeweler's lathe. It came from the estate of a career machinist for GE. It is in good working order but would benefit from a light cleaning.
I fully tested the thumbwheels, spinning them all the way down and back. Spinning the top to set the radius feels a bit sticky, but it does spin all the way around just fine.Note the double tool posts and the radial graduations. There is some light engraving from the prior owner.
