Post is very clean & has seen little use. Factory original with no modifications. No owner etchings or markings, ever. Handle is straight & ball is complete without damage.

Everything adjusts easily & properly. Custom base T-slot is included (2.175"long x 1.135" wide).

Base T-slot may require modification to fit buyers lathe. Many tools in industry have proprietary sizes. Sandvik is a notorious example of proprietary sizing. Tool post sizes are a wonderful example of industry standardization.

I recently learned Hardinge was the original 5C designer & patent holder. When patents run out (typically 14-20 years) standardizing becomes possible. Standardization typically makes things easier. However, proprietarization often necessitates innovation.
